"HOW TO WIN ON THE WEB"

Running your own business on your own time seems more attractive than ever in today's world. Attractive but very complex, as anyone who has tried to market on the Web  will tell you. The simplest formula that I have ever seen  for succeeding was written by Ken Evoy (http://www.sitesell.com/IBM.html).

What should you sell?

The hottest selling product on the Web today is information. "How-To" books of every description are flying   off the shelves in the real world as well as on the Web. They are easy to sell and can generate profits very quickly.

From an Internet marketer's standpoint, selling information just doesn't get any better. The profit margin is terrific (100%), there are no shipping costs (it can be electronically downloaded), and your customer has immediate satisfaction.

But how do you develop a quality information product that will sell? Particularly if you feel that you don't have writing skills.

The truth is, you can develop a product without doing much writing at all! And it won't cost you a penny:)

How? By using Newsgroups and Discussion Lists. Simply go to their sites, ask a series of questions related to your topic, then wait for the members to provide you the answers. Compile all of the responses, reword them, and you have a chapter or even an entire book!

But what about copyrights? Newsgroups are public forums. Therefore, nothing is copyrighted unless it is specifically stated. Anything said in a Newsgroup can be legally published!

If you are creative, you really don't have to know very much! (I'm not sure if that is good news or bad news). Ask the right questions and you will receive hundreds of emails packed with the information you need. Just assemble.

While you are building your own product, join a good affiliate program and get started making money and "learning the ropes". When your own product is finished, you are experienced and ready to go.
